99: “I was holding my one year old son…”

I was holding my one year old son (mixed White British and Asian ethnicity) in the supermarket when a woman came up and commented on the lovely colour of his skin and that his dad must be from Italy or Spain. I said his family is from Bangladesh and she looked us up and down, scowled and stormed off. Witnessing her attitude towards my little boy is something I shall remember forever.
