43: Finding housing is never an issue for me

I have realised how lucky I am that finding housing is never an issue for me. I rent and have learnt that dressing up well for viewings and using a formal vocabulary will give better housing and I'll be less likely to be rejected. The last place I lived they accepted me on the spot for a very desirable property, meaning I did not have to put a bid in and potentially pay more rent. The current place I live, the landlord did not even perform a background check on what I wrote on my application and said I looked reliable. I found out after that he had been vetting who came to the viewings, as he wanted a certain type of person living there and I fit this bill. I am trying to use this to my friends advantage by booking viewings in my name and attending with them, so that face to face they are under the impression it is me. But that should not even be an issue in the first place.
