86: Campus security always stopped her on the nights her black friend…

I have a white, female friend who attended a late university class in a part of the campus where she felt uncomfortable after dark. The class didn’t finish until 10pm and my friend looks like a child, she’s barely 5’1. So two of her flat mates, a 6’2 black guy and a 6’1 white guy, would take it in turns to meet her outside and walk her back home. The campus security would always stop them on the nights her black friend would walk her home and ask my friend if she was safe and if she was being forced to go with him. She was only ever stopped once when her white friend walked her home and that was only because they were making too much noise laughing and joking.
