114: “My family members …”

My family members always refer to people's race (except white) when describing a funny or bad incident in their day. I find it such an insidious way of trying to feed particular racist attributes that's also really difficult to call out. 'I'm not being racist, I'm just describing what they look like'. We all know the intention though and the white fragility then frames call-outs as simply 'PC' or 'overly sensitive'.
