38: Witness to stop and search

I have been trained to be a witness of 'random' stop and searching in public. Where I used to work there was a high proportion of young black kids living in the area and there was ALWAYS police on patrol carrying out searches. Me and some other colleagues went on a course on what to do as a witness, particularly a white witness when you see this happening. This police presence in that area was astounding and I was treated as a different citizen to the locals there.
